Creating Pastel Floral Magic: Luxury Floral Design at The Virginia House in Richmond

As a luxury wedding florist in Richmond, I recently had the extraordinary opportunity to collaborate with a talented group of vendors in crafting a whimsical and magical styled shoot at the enchanting Virginia House. Nestled amidst lush gardens and picturesque landscapes, The Virginia House served as the perfect canvas for our vision of a pastel-inspired fairytale wedding with Bridgerton vibes (hello Bridgerton fans). 

The Virginia House, with its storybook-like charm and ethereal look, provided the ideal backdrop for our intimate styled shoot. Its picturesque gardens and architectural elegance (the details on their windows are heavenly), transported us to a realm of enchantment, inspiring our team to curate a pastel-infused wonderland that exuded romance and magic.

The Pastel Bouquet: For this shoot, I set out to create a pastel bouquet that would embody both elegance and whimsy. The bouquet became a stunning masterpiece, boasting a delightful array of textures and hues. The carefully chosen blooms included ranunculus varieties, garden roses, clematis, delphinium, scabiosa, and sweet peas, among other lovely picks. Each bloom was meticulously selected to blend harmoniously in a symphony of soft pastels, reflecting the dreamlike atmosphere I sought to convey. The end result? A showstopping, unique bouquet perfect for any garden-themed style wedding affair.

Table Runner and Floor Pieces: To transform the dining scene into a captivating table-scape, I designed an awe-inspiring 8ft table runner that extended down the length of the table. Adorned with an opulent array of pastel florals, the runner served as a lush statement piece to surround mismatched china, colorful drinkware and Brush & Bliss’ lovely “fan card” table settings.

“Cheers to Forever”: Sipping Southern’s Mobile Bar: No luxury wedding is complete without a celebration drink, which is why I loved decorating Courtney’s mobile bar with a 3ft wheel arrangement and accent blooms to adorn the bar top. This stunning display added a pop of color and a dash of romance to the already elegant bar display.

Being a part of this styled shoot at The Virginia House as a wedding florist in Richmond was truly a remarkable experience. I had the privilege of transforming @amberjustineevents creative visions into reality, infusing each bloom with love and dedication. From the exquisite pastel bouquet to the captivating table runner, every detail was meticulously crafted to transport this space into an enchanting world straight from your favorite fairytale.
