A Blooming Affair: Katie and Kyle’s Spring Wedding at The Pinner House

As a passionate wedding florist, I’ve had the honor of curating floral arrangements for numerous spring weddings, each one unique and special in its own way. However, there’s always something truly magical about being a part of a couple’s big day, and Katie and Kyle’s wedding at The Pinner House in Suffolk was no exception. With its quaint charm and picturesque setting, this charming bed and breakfast turned weekend wedding venue provided the perfect backdrop for an intimate spring celebration.

From the moment I arrived at The Pinner House, I was captivated by its elegance and inviting ambiance. This was my first time working at this venue, and I was struck by its serene beauty. The Pinner House, a delightful bed and breakfast, effortlessly transforms into a dreamy and secluded wedding space . Its charming interiors and lush surroundings set the stage for what was a fun and intimate wedding celebration.

For Katie’s bouquet, I wanted to capture the essence of the spring season while reflecting her radiant personality. Drawing inspiration from the surroundings, I crafted a bouncy and airy bouquet that mirrored the vibrant blooms of spring. To make this vision come to life, I sourced some gorgeous local peonies from Toano Botanicals, a wonderful flower farm known for its peony varieties. These local peonies took center stage in the bouquet, exuding beauty, elegance, and a touch of local VA charm.

Katie and Kyle envisioned exchanging their vows, indoors, in front of a large picturesque window bathed in soft natural light. To bring their vision to life, I designed a stunning 6 ft floral runner that graced the window sill, framing their heartfelt vows with an ethereal display of blooms. On either side of the window installation were two magnificent urns, brimming with greenery and garden roses. These larger-than-life arrangements added a touch of grandeur to the scene, perfectly balancing the intimate beauty of the moment.

Katie and Kyle’s wedding was a celebration of love, connection, and the beauty of nature coming together. Being a part of their special day at The Pinner House was a remarkable experience for me as a luxury wedding florist. From the enchanting venue to the intricate details of the floral arrangements, every aspect radiated with joy and authenticity.
