Riley & Corey’s August Wedding at The Hermitage Museum and Gardens

I am beyond excited to share the blooming details of Riley and Corey’s dreamy August wedding at the Hermitage Museum and Gardens.

Let me start by saying, wow, what a venue choice! The Hermitage Museum and Gardens provided the most picturesque backdrop for this unforgettable August day. Riley and Corey decided on a vision that was both timeless and vibrant with a ceremony surrounded by the lush greenery of the garden, followed by a reception with lively bursts of color in their centerpieces. It was truly a dream for me to design.

For the personal flowers, Riley and Corey opted for a classic all-white color palette to make the colorful blooms at the ceremony and reception “POP”. Riley’s bouquet, in particular, was a showstopper. Filled to the brim with luxurious white dahlias, including a few magnificent “dinner plate” dahlias (because the flowers are actually the size of dinner plates), it was the epitome of beauty and luxury. The bridesmaid bouquets were a mix of white Alaskan peonies, and smaller white dahlias.

Now, let’s talk about the color— from those breathtaking ceremony flowers and reception centerpieces to the colorful hues of the bridesmaid dresses. Riley and Corey wanted to infuse pops of color into these elements, and it came out beautifully. The centerpieces featured a playful mix of blue, pinks, white, peaches, and yellow hues, creating a vibrant kaleidoscope of floral perfection. The colorful centerpieces on the long head tables created an atmosphere that was as lively as it was romantic.

I cannot thank these two enough for entrusting me with designing their florals for their day. As a florist, there’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing a couple’s vision come to life, and Riley and Corey’s wedding was one of my favorites. Being a part of their special day was an honor, and I’m grateful to have played a role in adding that extra dash of floral magic to an already enchanting celebration.
